We got on the road by 10:30 am  out of Vegas; it was already getting hot.  Cathy and I wasted no time getting back, though traffic was heavy at times.  We were back at her house by 6:30 pm, unloaded her dog crates and all my stuff,  and got the car turned in by 7:30 pm.  It was a long 24 hours but worth it.  Would we do it again?   In a minute, if it saves any lives!  And we are sure by the attitudes the cats had the whole trip they are happy to be moving on to a new life.  I’ll try to get an update on cats at Best Friends and let everyone know how they are doing.   Pictures below show van and cats at airport meeting location, and in the van ready to go to Best Friends from there.
