For the last two weeks, PAWS members have been working hard to get the last 10 cats out of SJACS.  In addition to the transfer of two cats to Best Friends, members of PAWS who do rescue are stepping up to take them for adoption.  To enable those rescues, PAWS is funding the medical efforts required on the last three cats SJACS felt they could not adopt out so that rescuers will be able to afford to take them.  On Saturday July 17, PAWS board member Dr. Rusher donated her time and PAWS funded the technicians, supplies, and IDEX work; and thus the last of the 108 cats were removed from SJACC.  Yay!

We are proud that PAWS is helping by funding the last of these “108″ so they can get out to rescues and while they are awaiting those forever homes, will not have to wait in a small cages, but will be in foster homes.  It is only because of our generous donors that we can fund such efforts.
