Take a look at two of the tiniest beneficiaries of the PAWS for SJACS Rabbit Community Fund. This fund will help pay for these little ones’ spay/neuter surgeries when these endearing chocolate dutch bunnies are of age. Their parents, aunts and uncles were fixed with the help of the new fund. Their human guardians lost their home, but didn’t give up their pets. The family was doing their best they could under tough circumstances, but clearly needed assistance. PAWS, with help from the Rabbit Haven, assisted with education, food, and spay/neutering funds. The Rabbit Community Fund was set up to help rabbit owners who live in any city covered by the San Jose Animal Care Center. If the rabbit’s human family has the right stuff to be a good animal guardian, but need assistance with spay/neutering funds, they may be a candidate for to take advantage of this resource. Please contact the PAWS rabbit committee for more information.
