The two newest beneficiaries of the PAWS Rabbit Medical Fund are Arial and Leonardo. Arial was one of 10 baby bunnies who were born at the shelter when Bunji, Arial’s mother, was dropped off cold and hungry by her so-called guardians. Leonardo was put on the Needs-Rescue List for a fur mite infestation. These lucky bunnies were given a second chance using the Rabbit Medical Fund to pay for medications, vet care, and spay/neutering. After their recovery, they found each other with the help of a wonderful family who was looking for two bunnies to add to their family. Bonding between Arial and Leonardo was nearly love at first sight, which is rare with rabbits ( as with people). They now live together as loving pair with a caring, generous, responsible family who have one young daughter who wants to be a vet when she grows up. With the help of PAWS, these so-called ”second-hand” bunnies have a first class life now!
