Already in 2011, PAWS for SJACS, has provided for San Jose Animal Care Center (SJACC) kitty-cat scratchers  for the kennels,  Feliway room atomizers (to help keep felines in the kennels calm), and Zukes dog treats to help with training and rewarding the canines who are up for adoption.  The felines love those scratchers and it sure is nice to see how happy those dogs are now while being walked and trained by volunteers and staff, they love those Zukes treats as rewards!    The enrichment program is really helping make the animals at SJACC be happier and more comfortable while they await adoption, and the happier the animal the quicker it tends to be adopted.   Together PAWS for SJACS and SJACC are working to keep all the critters happy at SJACC.  These enrichment items were paid for by monetary donations to PAWS for  SJACS.   You can help keep this  enrichment program going by sending in money or by donating through our website via PayPal.
