PAWS for SJACS works closely with San Jose Animal Care & Services (SJACS) and local rescues to get adoptable animals into new homes. Our programs help reduce the number of animals entering the San José Animal Care Center (shelter), enrich the lives of those animals while they wait for new homes, and encourage rescues to take in animals from the shelter. All programs are focused on the goal of reducing the euthanasia (killing) of adoptable animals.
San José Animal Care & Services serves the areas of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Milpitas, San José, and Saratoga.
