Hello friends! I recently adopted a dog from a shelter, and to be honest, at first I was a little confused - I didn't know where to start training. Luckily, I came across an article about how to train rescue dog. Everything is written very clearly, with care and love for animals. I learned how important it is to first establish trust, create a calm environment, use positive reinforcement and move in small steps. Thanks to these tips, my dog began to trust me, became more confident and responsive. The recommendations for recognizing fears and triggers were especially helpful - I simply did not notice this before. Now we are already practicing commands, and progress is noticeable every day.

Thank you for the great advice! When I adopted a dog from a shelter, I was also a bit confused - I felt like I didn't know anything about how to properly start training and establish contact. I learned that the first thing to do is to establish trust and create a calm atmosphere in which the dog will feel safe. Gradually, we began to use the positive reinforcement method, and this gave wonderful results! The dog became much more confident, began to respond to my commands. Understanding how to recognize her fears and triggers was especially useful - I simply did not notice this before. Every day we understand each other better and better, and training is becoming a real pleasure.
